About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of technical staffing and support services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Drilling Rig Site Offshore Installation (OI) Advisor II to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary on-site contact for Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters during rig-based drilling activities, supporting our operations and driving excellence in safety performance.
Key Responsibilities- Observe site safety and health drills, actively participating in de-briefing meetings to ensure full compliance with company requirements.
- Facilitate regular safety and health inspections, assessments, and comprehensive audits on-site.
- Provide expert guidance and support to the drilling team and contractors regarding SSHE policies and initiatives.
- Positively influence the drilling workforce to foster a proactive safety culture across all operational phases.
- Ensure that all daily drilling activities align with established global best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Advanced knowledge of drilling operations, processes, and relevant safety rules and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills, technical judgment, and exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong technical and business communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in harsh, remote offshore and onshore environments with variable conditions.
- Must be fit for duty for demanding physical environments involving standing, climbing, and navigating large structures.
