About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a prominent leader in the Nigerian food industry and home to the iconic Golden Penny brand, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician B2B to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our advanced milling and packaging equipment. You will work within our state-of-the-art facilities in Lagos, contributing to seamless industrial operations and minimizing production downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, components, control panels, and industrial machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and complete comprehensive maintenance records.
- Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes, and execute rapid corrective actions.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Execute planned preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment longevity and efficiency.
- Record and monitor electrical equipment readings to support continuous plant improvement.
- Comply strictly with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and statutory electrical codes.
- Minimum of 5 O Level credits, including Mathematics and English, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Relevant technical certification such as NABTEB, Trade Test, or City and Guilds.
- At least 2 years of cognate experience in electrical maintenance.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, milling, or industrial environment is a distinct advantage.
