About the Role
Abuja Clinics was established in 1989 as a premier health institution to provide efficient medical services across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). From humble beginnings, we have grown into a trusted group of three specialized hospitals located in Karu, Garki, and Maitama. Equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by dedicated healthcare professionals, we deliver comprehensive medical care across all major fields. We are currently looking for a professional and safety-conscious Driver to support our logistics and transportation needs within Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport authorized staff, patients, and hospital materials to designated destinations within and outside the FCT.
- Maintain assigned hospital vehicles in clean, sound, and roadworthy condition at all times.
- Perform routine daily vehicle checks including engine oil, water, battery, brakes, and tire pressure.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or required maintenance to management.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, hospital safety policies, and driving regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks for all trips, fuel purchases, and maintenance schedules.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Possession of a valid and current Nigerian Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or healthcare setting.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of major Abuja roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent defensive driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Good communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
