About the Role
Myrtle Management Consultants is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Creative Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and commercial production, helping to deliver exceptional style and quality to our discerning clientele across the Nigerian market and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Create and visualize original design concepts by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Develop comprehensive tech packs, patterns, and technical specifications for accurate garment production.
- Liaise closely with sales, buying, and production teams to ensure items align with customer expectations and market price points.
- Source and select quality fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments from reliable suppliers.
- Lead fitting sessions, provide actionable insight on fit improvements, and manage communications with vendors.
- Input and track sales orders, purchase orders, and cut tickets within the company ERP system.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Creative Fashion Designer or in a similar apparel production role.
- Fashion Design Degree is highly preferred.
- Proficient in industry-standard software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of garment technology, pattern cutting, and sewing techniques.
