About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled Controller: Transport Operations to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, ensuring efficient and timely haulage services for top-tier clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily fleet coordination, route planning, and transport logistics operations to ensure delivery targets are met.
- Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and operating costs using management systems like EDD, Instanta, and i-manager.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, conducting regular toolbox meetings and risk assessments.
- Track truck movements, monitor speed limits, and manage pre- and post-trip briefings for delivery officers.
- Maintain accurate fleet records, manage documentation, and ensure prompt collection of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
- Liaise with clients, field officers, and the HSE department to resolve operational issues and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Sciences or Social Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit.
- Professional certifications such as CLTD, CILT, or CSCP are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, 3PL management, fleet operations, and driver management.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigeria’s road network and standard fleet management practices.
