About the Role
Proten International is currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Civil Engineer to drive project coordination and site management operations for our esteemed clients in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will spearhead site operations, coordinate multi-disciplinary project resources, and ensure all construction activities are executed seamlessly in alignment with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise complex piling, foundation, and related civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Manage site personnel, contractors, equipment, and construction materials to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Monitor project progress diligently, ensuring full compliance with architectural specifications, safety regulations, budgets, and strict timelines.
- Liaise effectively with surveyors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain strong stakeholder alignment.
- Conduct thorough site investigations and interpret intricate engineering drawings to guide field operations.
- Identify, assess, and swiftly resolve technical and operational challenges to mitigate project delays.
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation and deliver accurate progress reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering, project coordination, or construction site management.
- Demonstrated expertise and practical background in piling and foundation construction projects.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, technical specifications, and implementing construction safety protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and multi-site coordination abilities.
- COREN registration or verifiable active progress toward professional licensure is a strong advantage.
