About the Role
KPEC Schools is a reputable, government-approved co-educational private learning institution located at 77 Agboyi Road, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos State. Founded in September 2009, we provide an exceptional blended learning environment utilizing both the British and Nigerian National Curricula. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Civic Education Teacher to join our esteemed secondary school team and inspire the next generation of responsible citizens and independent thinkers.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Civic Education effectively at the Junior Secondary level in alignment with school standards and the approved curriculum.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and ensure pupil welfare, safety, and positive engagement during all school hours.
- Prepare students thoroughly for both internal assessments and external examinations with proven methodologies.
- Design engaging lesson plans that foster critical thinking, moral values, and societal awareness among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Possession of an NCE or a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) registration will be a strong advantage.
- Prior classroom teaching experience in a recognized secondary school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
