About the Role

Known for our unwavering commitment to excellence, quality, and timely project delivery, we are currently seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Security Officer (CSO) to fortify our corporate security infrastructure and ensure a safe, secure working environment across our operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive physical and digital security policies, protocols, and emergency response frameworks across all corporate facilities and project sites.
- Oversee daily security operations, access control systems, surveillance networks, and coordinate closely with local law enforcement and private security vendors.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, threat analyses, and vulnerability audits to proactively identify and mitigate potential security breaches or operational disruptions.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise internal security teams and external guards, providing continuous training on modern security technologies, crisis management, and safety protocols.
- Ensure strict regulatory compliance with national safety laws, industry standards, and corporate governance guidelines while managing security budgets and resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, International Relations, or a related field; a relevant master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP, PSP) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive security management experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role within a reputable organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate risk mitigation, crisis response planning, physical asset protection, and liaison with government security agencies.
- Exceptional leadership, crisis communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under high-pressure scenarios.
