About the Role
Bingham University, Karu was established by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) following its formal licensing by the National Universities Commission (NUC) on 5th January, 2005. Named after pioneer Sudan Interior Missionary Roland Victor Bingham, the institution integrates quality tertiary education with strong moral and spiritual values. We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Cardiologist to join our esteemed Faculty of Internal Medicine in Karu, Nasarawa State, to provide exceptional patient care, advance clinical research, and contribute to our academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, treat, and manage complex cardiovascular diseases and conditions in patients.
- Perform advanced cardiac diagnostic tests, procedures, and interventions as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams within the university teaching hospital to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Teach, mentor, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate medical students within the Faculty of Internal Medicine.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional clinical research initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere strictly to medical ethics and institutional guidelines.
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Hold relevant postgraduate professional fellowship qualifications (such as FWACP, FMCCP, or foreign equivalents) in Cardiology or Internal Medicine.
- Current valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a recognized healthcare or tertiary academic institution.
