In this role, you will play a crucial part in revolutionizing the food sector by delivering actionable insights, optimizing recipe costs, and identifying lucrative pricing opportunities to support our rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Review food recipes, determine appropriate menu item costing, and convert recipes for quantity preparation while ensuring up-to-date material costs.
- Perform margin and pricing sensitivity analyses, and develop competitive price points for new product launches to maximize profit margins and sales volumes.
- Analyze product menus to identify top and underperforming items by location, determining theoretical gross profits and cost benefits.
- Monitor pricing decisions, ensure pricing accuracy across all store types and regions, and conduct comprehensive product and volume profitability analyses.
- Track and update competitor price lists, analyze broader market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture strategic commercial opportunities.
- Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly product performance reports and maintain dynamic pricing models.
- A good first degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar business analysis or pricing role, preferably within retail, FMCG, or QSR industries.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
