Key Responsibilities- Mix classic and innovative cocktails, pour beers, and prepare wines or non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to established recipes.
- Greet patrons warmly, take drink orders, offer expert recommendations, and engage with guests seated at the bar area.
- Manage daily bar inventory, restock supplies, maintain spotless glassware, and keep the overall bar workspace clean and organized.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, process cash and card transactions, and accurately balance cash registers at the end of every shift.
- Demonstrate strong physical stamina to stand for extended periods up to 8 hours or more, and lift heavy items such as beer kegs and stock cases.
- Utilize basic arithmetic and multitasking skills for handling tabs, making change, and resolving issues promptly in a busy crowd.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc from a recognized institution.
- Proven working experience as a bartender in a busy lounge, club, or hospitality establishment within Nigeria.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, beers, and standard pouring measurements.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
