The Dangote Group is seeking a dedicated and analytical Audit Analyst to join our esteemed team in Lagos, Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive audit plans in accordance with professional standards and communicate critical findings effectively.
- Analyze financial statements, review capital and operational budgets, and document actionable insights and recommendations.
- Conduct field surveys and operational assessments to evaluate procedures and processes across various business units.
- Identify and report on financial fraud, operational irregularities, and recommend robust remedial actions.
- Support the Specialist SBU Control in achieving audit team objectives in a timely manner and within budget.
- Ensure strict adherence to key accounting and audit standards, including IFRS and ICFR.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA is an added advantage.
- Active membership in professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or CPA.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial and operational audit experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 or global corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of finance best practices, regulatory standards, and excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
