Key Responsibilities- Provide academic leadership in the Department of Criminology and Security Studies through innovative teaching and curriculum development.
- Engage in high-impact research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Master's and PhD levels.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
- Mentor junior academic staff and foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Possess a PhD Degree in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
- Demonstrate clear evidence of academic leadership and robust scholarship.
- Minimum of twenty (20) scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals within the relevant field.
- Proven track record of successful supervision of postgraduate students.
- Minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
