About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a qualified and dynamic Air Advisor to join our team. In this critical role, you will act as the aviation specialist, providing expert advice on air support specifications and technical inspections for both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft. You will play a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all company aviation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure full conformity with Group and legislative safety directives pertaining to company aviation operations.
- Lead safety awareness initiatives, present executive safety results, and issue timely safety alerts for major deviations.
- Conduct regular HSE and SQM meetings with contractors, performing audits and defining robust action plans.
- Manage incident reporting and analysis, tracking occurrences through Synergi and coordinating with NCAA investigations.
- Liaise with helicopter operating managers to guarantee safe, efficient operations and contribute to aviation strategy development.
- Maintain ownership of company aviation procedures, ensuring continuous updates, accurate KPI tracking, and seamless invoice auditing.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as an airline captain, pilot, maintenance engineer, operations manager, or airworthiness manager in civil aviation.
- At least 5 years of hands-on work experience within an offshore helicopter company.
- Must hold an international aviation auditor certificate or be a graduate of a recognized air safety academy.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian aviation legislation, technical innovations, and market developments.
