About the Role
NINERELA+ (Association of Religious Leaders Living with or Personally Affected by HIV/AIDS in Nigeria) is seeking a dynamic, digitally skilled, and results-oriented Advocacy and Communication Associate. In this role, you will champion our advocacy objectives by translating community experiences, project activities, and research data into compelling communication products that promote health, gender justice, and human rights.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute engaging digital communication campaigns, multimedia content, and social media strategies to elevate organizational visibility.
- Design high-quality graphics, infographics, newsletters, posters, and reports using modern design tools.
- Write compelling human-interest stories, case studies, press releases, opinion pieces, and policy briefs.
- Document project outcomes using approaches like Outcome Harvesting and Most Significant Change, ensuring strict respect for privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with program and MEAL teams to synthesize monitoring findings and community feedback into actionable advocacy materials.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts, Journalism, Development Studies, Creative Arts, Sociology, Gender Studies, or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital content management, graphic design tools, and creative storytelling.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- A robust portfolio showcasing graphic designs, newsletters, digital campaigns, or published articles is a distinct advantage.
