About the Role
Fisem Integrated Services, a leading veterinary services and pharmaceutical organization involved in production, laboratory diagnostics, and agricultural consultancy, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team in Ibadan, Oyo State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial operations, ensuring absolute accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation in compliance with company standards.
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and daily financial transactions efficiently.
- Carry out routine bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and maintain supporting documentation.
- Monitor inventory records and sales documentation in collaboration with operational teams.
- Support payroll administration and ensure accurate statutory remittances including VAT and PAYE.
- Verify transactions to enforce internal accounting procedures and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- 2 to 3 years of proven post-NYSC experience in an accounting or auditing role.
- Practical knowledge of at least one standard accounting software package.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must currently reside in Ibadan or be readily available to relocate.
