About the Role
FMR Agency Limited is recruiting a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant on behalf of our esteemed client operating in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. This is an exciting career opportunity for a dedicated finance professional looking to grow within a fast-paced business environment in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and general ledger entries.
- Record daily sales, operational expenses, and other financial transactions promptly.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
- Track company expenses and provide reliable support for budgeting activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting procedures, financial regulations, and statutory standards.
- Minimum of an HND or BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Possess 1 to 3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the FMCG or retail sector.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with prior experience using popular accounting software being a strong advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with an uncompromising eye for detail.
- Must reside in or around Lugbe, Abuja, and be able to conveniently commute to the office daily.
