About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and analytical Accountant to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance with local financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and perform accurate data entry.
- Conduct regular bank, debtors, and creditors reconciliations.
- Prepare, examine, and maintain comprehensive financial records and reports.
- Process invoices, outgoing payments, and employee expense claims efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Assist the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and internal or external audits.
- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience handling general accounts and reconciliations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and standard accounting software packages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work effectively within a team.
