About the Role
Owolabi University is a newly established private university located in Oke-Ila Orangun, Osun State, operating from its take-off site in Osogbo. Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) on June 29, 2026, our institution was founded by Bishop Felix Owolabi and Right Rev'd Dr. (Mrs.) Temitayo Owolabi to widen access to quality higher education. We are currently seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our growing team as an Academic Planning Officer II and help shape the future of higher learning in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the formulation and implementation of academic planning policies and strategic goals.
- Gather, analyze, and manage institutional data regarding student enrollment, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the National Universities Commission (NUC) and other regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with various departments to monitor academic programs and ensure compliance with university standards.
- Support curriculum development processes and timetable coordination across faculties.
- Possession of a good First Degree in Social Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science from a recognized University with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division).
- Alternatively, a good First Degree in any other discipline with a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division), supplemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
